Microsoft improves Calendar within Outlook with the aim of improving the control and management of meetings

Microsoft continues to work on improving the most important applications through regular updates. Windows 10 May 2019 Update is approaching and along with the arrival of this new Windows revision come improvements to an application as iconic as the Outlook Calendar function
One of the most used applications within the Windows platform that with this update improves usability with some interesting new features. Additions and improvements that Microsoft announced a few minutes ago that will make it faster and easier to schedule and organize meetings
Greater control of the meeting
- Meeting Form: When creating the form for a meeting you can now choose between mandatory or optional attendee. You no longer need to open the Scheduling Assistant or the Address Book.
- Schedule Assistant: Now for easier organization, under the Schedule Assistant tab in Outlook, when typing a name, services Microsoft smart phones automatically suggest the names of the people you work with most often and invite them to the meeting.
- Room Finder: Room Finder allows you to book accommodation in different locations.
- Default Duration: You can now change the default duration for new appointments and meetings. Additionally, downtime can be accumulated between meetings and added up at the end.
- Time Zones: Ideal for virtual meetings, as attendees will see the meeting time on the day and month of their time local instead of the organizer time. You can also view up to three time zones.
- Attendee Tracking: Outlook displays tracking information, even for meetings we haven't hosted within the same company.
- Response Options: Allows for more control of the meeting by adding a new option that prevents forwarding to prevent attendees from optional or required forward the invitation to others.
- Automatically dismiss reminders for past calendar events: Adds a handy option that allows you to automatically delete reminders for meetings that have already passed have been held and therefore are not needed in the calendar.
- Show reminders on top of other windows: A new option to display reminders on top of desktop windows.
These improvements are added to others that we have already seen and that are already available, although to be able to access them we must be subscribed to Office 365 .
