Microsoft continues to work on improving the possibilities of OneNote that now allows you to use documents locally

- Easily navigate and organize your notebooks The OneNote for Windows 10 app window now offers more space for taking notes by making it easier to navigation interface control. You can choose to display the notebook, section, and page navigation panes only when needed, while maintaining immediate access to the Search and Recent Notes buttons.

- Enhanced printing to OneNote. Within Windows 10 settings, we can now select OneNote as the default printer and then print files from any app or browser on the PC."
- Upload your local notebooks to the cloud This is perhaps the most striking novelty, and it solves a demand from users with the app. Before, it didn't offer the ability to work with local files and forced you to use cloud solutions like OneDrive. Now it detects any notebook locally and allows uploading it to the cloud for access and sharing from anywhere, and from any computer or device.
- Functions for drawing graphs and mathematical equations are improved Now it allows to obtain the X and Y coordinates of any graph created from equations math by hovering the mouse pointer over the graph line. A tooltip will appear, showing the coordinates. Lets read the math solution steps out loud.After creating a math equation in OneNote, you can select an action to solve the equation and then display the solution. To have Immersive Reader read the solution steps aloud, simply click the speaker icon that appears.
- Allows the use of custom labels Sorting and classification is improved thanks to the use of custom notes. To create them, simply click the Labels dropdown menu on the Home tab and then click Create New Label.
- Find Notes. Searching for tags in your notes now displays matching tags in a separate search results pane, making it even easier to find and keep track of important notes.
- Phrase searching is now supported. Not only does it allow you to search for keywords anywhere in the notes. "
- Uploading files to the cloud is improved. Upload to OneDrive and embed link allows attachments to be stored in the cloud and makes it easier to collaborate with others."
- Edit and save embedded attachments. After you insert an attachment into OneNote, it can be opened and edited. Any changes you make will be saved to the original attachment without having to re-insert the file.
