However, and with the aim of reassuring users, from Microsoft they affirm that the content of the emails has not been accessible to the attackers, something that does not fit with the publication of MotherBoard, which affirms that they were affectedup to 6% of emails that would have been accessed.

In addition, there is also disparity in the dates on which the disallowed access took place, as Microsoft claims that the cyber attackers had access to the data between on January 1 and March 28, while MotherBoard affirms that this period of time was extended to 6 months.
