Microsoft offers a new design in Your Phone Companion: now the icons have a more current appearance

Microsoft continues to be committed to attracting customers to its platform and one of the best ways it has found to do so is to offer its own applications in a rival field (suddenly it was a good option to launch its most iconic applications on iOS and Android) or applications that serve as a link between the mobile market and the PC market Especially after the black luck that Windows has had on mobile phones.

One of the most talked about is Your Phone Companion (Your Phone), a utility that allows content to be synchronized between the PC and the _smartphone_ and which is now topical again.

A fresh look

Your Phone Companion is the application for Windows 10 that allows us to connect PCs equipped with Windows 10 to any phone, be it Windows Phone (if there are any), Android or iOS. And now Microsoft is improving the interface thanks to a new design in some of the icons within the app. These icons had arrived earlier in the beta version of the application and now it is rolled out in the general version that can be tried by all users.

It was @VishnuNath, Director of Program Management- Microsoft Mobility, who broke the news on his Twitter account. Specifically, it deals with new designs so that Microsoft unifies the typology of icons, since these are similar to some of those offered by Office 365.

They adopt a more modern aesthetic with a more minimalist touch, far from the design shown by the icons used up to now. They follow the trend not only of those used in Office, but in general they adopt the design that now prevails in the different operating systems.

If they still don't appear in Your Phone Companion, you just have to check if you have a pending update, because when updating this improvement it is installed again automatically.
