Let's talk about OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud storage service that is preparing to catch up with more interesting news. Competition obliges and options such as Dropbox, Google Drive or Box, to name just three services, mean that Microsoft cannot rest on its laurels if it wants to continue having a height application.
To this end, Microsoft has announced on the Onedrive blog the news that will be coming to its cloud storage platform over the next few daysand that we can enjoy on different mobile platforms such as iOS and Android.
We start with the MyAnalytics function, an option thanks to which we can control the use we make of Microsoft applications and services. It offers statistics that show us the performance that we obtain from these services with the aim of helping us improve productivity."
"With the improvement they are preparing, OneDrive and the MyAnalytics function see the Trend section disappear while the contextual menus will be improved to make it easier to view the informationand the way of counting the different aspects detailed in the graphs has been improved."
Another of the improvements that we have already seen is the integration with Skype, so that from the messaging application we can share files stored in the Microsoft cloud without having to leave the application. In addition, the option to block the download of files in the shared links is added so that the person to whom we send the file cannot share it again.
In the case of Android, it is also allowed to upload photos to the Onedrive cloud, yes, as long as it is from a business account. An upload that we can establish as automatic, the same as in other services such as Dropbox.
These improvements are expected to roll out over the next few days to both the OneDrive apps on Android and iOS. OneDrive can be downloaded for iOS on the App Store and for Android via Google Play for free.
