The recipient will receive a notification to the indicated email and a code to proceed with the download of the application in question as if he had bought it himself but with the advantage of having zero cost. A functionality that has limits that we must know:

• Only two gifts at a discounted price of the same product by the same user are allowed.
• You can buy and gift up to 10 products in 14 days if they have a discounted price. At normal price there is no limitation.
• Gift recipient must reside and download in the same marketplace where it was purchased.
• The purchase and delivery is immediate. Deliveries cannot be scheduled.
• Regarding games, You cannot gift original Xbox 360 and Xbox titles.
• Also Gifting is not allowed Pre-orders, free products and downloadable content of games with virtual currency.

This new feature is starting to roll out, so it may still take a few days to reach all users.
