The members of the Skip Ahead ring can now access all the news released by Microsoft Sitcky Notes
For a week now, the Sticky Notes application is being the protagonist Firstly because of the news that Microsoft was preparing for the version 3.0 that would reach Skip Ahead and later due to the insistent rumors that spoke of a possible release on iOS and Android.
We don't know anything about the latter for now, but where there is good news is with regard to the users of the Skip Ahead ring. And it is that all of them can already access the news that Microsoft Sticky Notes 3.0 already has.
The application comes loaded with new features and above all, a renewed appearance that makes it much more pleasing to the eye at the same time that gives it a much more current aesthetic, parallel to the current times. If Windows 10 brings a major makeover, applications could not remain on the sidelines.
The list of novelties is extensive and we see it at the end of the article, but among all of them the adoption of the long-awaited theme stands out dark (always appreciated by our eyes, especially in the most modern equipment), a new format bar, the adoption of a greater number of colors for the notes and above all, a synchronization of the notes, a function that will have full sense when the application is released on iOS and Android. This is the list of improvements:
- The app icon has been updated, which now follows the line imposed on Windows 10.
- Added on dark theme support.
- Added a new toolbar to make it easier to format text now.
- New colors for notes.
- Accessibility has been improved and notes can now be used with accessibility tools and Narrator.
- Improved usability with mouse and keyboard.
- Added support for high contrast.
- Introduced a section that allows to group notes and perform searches.
- Now notes are synced to the cloud. It is the step prior to launching the application on Android and iOS.
If you are a member of the Skip Ahead ring you can download the update from the link at the end of the text if you don't want to wait for it to arrive the update.
