And that is what many may think when they find out that Opera is now compatible with Google Chrome extensions

Extensions come to Opera

To do this it is necessary to have version 55.0.2994.37 of Opera, regardless of the platform on which we use it (Mac or PC). Once we have updated the browser, we can proceed to install extensions from the Chrome Web Store.

To enable the new functionality we must enter Opera and go to the Chrome extensions store. Then we will see how in the upper zone it asks us if we want to add an extension that enables this compatibilityWe install it and see how we can now install the extensions that were previously exclusive to Chrome.

It is the main characteristic of this version but it is not the only one and it is that simultaneously they have arrived improvements in the Configuration Page, the which has seen how its elements are reorganized or security improvements, with warnings if we visit web pages with a secure connection.
