Problems with Windows Defender in an installation? By following these steps you can temporarily disable it

Windows Defender is Microsoft's proprietary alternative that prevents us from having to have an antivirus signed by a third party on our computer. It offers more and more efficient operation against external threats but Do you know how you can deactivate it?

It may be that occasionally it is not interesting for it to be functional for a certain time since it can interfere during the installation of some other program. Temporarily deactivating Windows Defender on our computer is very easy just by following these steps.

This can be useful if the antivirus is interfering with another installation or if you are convinced that it is giving false positives. Windows only allows you to disable the antivirus for a certain amount of time: after that it turns itself back on.

Once there we can turn off Windows Defender real-time protection by switching the switch to Off.

Windows Defender will turn itself off for a certain amount of time and then turn it back on automatically, so you don't have to worry about turning it on manually.
