We know some more details about the "Your Phone" application that turns our PC into an extension of the smartphone
Without a doubt this week has left us many proper names within the Microsoft ecosystem and one of them is Your Phone, a free application for Windows 10 whose main objective is reproduce the screen and the most relevant functions of the phone and transfer them to our computer"
This is an application that will be available for both iOS and Android, although the software characteristics of each platform will give them access to different options, although what we did know is that in both cases we will have guaranteed the complete reproduction of the phone screen to the PC.Everything looks great, but now we know some requirements for everything to work properly
First of all both devices, PC and mobile phone, must be paired via Bluetooth, although only in the case of iOS, in order to access the transmission of notifications. It is appreciated that it is not necessary that both have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
The differences continue as iPhone users will only be able to work with photos and sync notifications, but will not be able to access messages of text. In the case of photos, the last 25 photos will be synchronized on both iOS and Android.
When using the Your Phone app with an Android device, only the last month of text messages will be synced and the last 25 photos for iOS and Android. All of this information will be cached locally to remain accessible once the phone is disconnected."
When you start using Your Phone from your PC, you can access three large fields: Notifications, Photos and Messages The first will show notifications from the phone on the PC, while with Photos we can work with them from the computer (we can even drag and drop photos from the phone to different applications) and with Messages we can answer them directly from the PC."
"The Your Phone application will reach the rings within the Insider Program in the following weeks before finally integrating it into devices with a stable version of Windows 10, through one of its updates."
