Podcast fan? You can now download Pocket Casts for Windows 10 from the Microsoft Store

Whenever we talk about Podcasts, an application comes to mind to be able to access them easily and comfortably. This is Pocket Casts, an app that is available on Android and iOS (the two links that appear on the web), is very popular with a large number of loyal users.

However on Windows it was not present or not at least until now, when Shifty Jelly, the developer and creator of Pocket Casts, has announced that they have released a version of the application specially designed for environments under Windows 10A utility that in theory comes to complement the web version and those available on iOS and Android.

Until now Pocket Casts did not have a native application for desktop versions on Windows and Mac. The Microsoft platform is the first of two that already offers one own app to access our podcasts, but an application that comes with some observations under its arm.

The application is fluid and the user experience it offers is remarkable, as it has some of the options offered in the others platforms. Thus, for example, we can choose a theme, playback speed or the possibility of synchronizing listening with other devices.

These options and how they work make it not too noticeable that we are dealing with a web version and not with an application developed specifically for Windows.

You can download the application for free from the Microsoft Store, compared to iOS where it costs 5.99 euros and Android costs 2.99 euros. But its use is not free, even if you have purchased the app on iOS or Android, you must subscribe by paying $9 per month to access the desktop version with the to manage your account. Of course, you have a free trial period of 14 days.
