Office 356 is updated in October with a large number of improvements to enhance its use in professional environments
o a long time ago we found out that we were going to have a new version of the Microsoft Office Suite next year. Great news that, as our colleague Javier Pastor commented in an article, meant a bet for all those who did not want to have to pay a monthly subscription
And this is the other offer that they make from Redmond with Office 365. A monthly fee to access the services that we already know with a series of advantages that have as main ( although not only) protagonist , to content management in the cloud. And while the classic Office arrives, we already know what will be the novelties that will arrive with the October update of Office 365
- Word Translator: This is a new function based on Microsoft intelligent services and that will allow us to translate entire documents directly to Word thanks to the power of Microsoft Translator. Right now it has support for up to 60 languages of which 11 work with neural networks (NN).
- Support for Tell Me: Access to Word, Excel and PowerPoint has been made easier and now for those with a commercial subscription they can search through their organization, share files and previews with other users, as well as access slides, charts, and tables in documents.
- Learning Tools in Word for iPad: Word for iPad seeks to help people with learning difficulties use it and now supports more immersive readings.
- Files On-Demand: A feature that has already arrived with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
- 3D Models: We can now use and view 3D models in the Office 365 for Windows and Windows 10 Mobile apps and directly in OneDrive without no additional plugins.
- Visio Online: Thanks to the web version of this graphics creation program, the possibility to create, edit and share graphics is improved . An online tool that can be found at this address
-
MyAnalytics: with MyAnalytics we seek to improve working life with personal analysis and intelligent coaching and with the October update it will be possible to know the number of hours we spend with groups of people or users and thus establish a better distribution.
-
LinkedIn Profile Integration in Outlook: LinkedIn integration in Outlook.com is here for Office 365 subscription holders. Thus we have access to all profile information directly in Outlook.
This new update offers a series of more than interesting features designed to improve usability so that we can get more out of our work without having to intervene with third-party applications._What do you think of the novelties they are preparing?_
