The wait is over and downloading Netflix series and movies is now possible on Windows 10 devices
It was one of the demands that users had made to Netflix with the most insistence. The power to have an _offline viewing mode_ for those cases in which there is no access to data to continue accessing the series and movies in your catalog.
From Netflix they listened to that request and so in November came the download of series and movies to be able to watch them later, from anywhere and on any device. Wait a minute, from anyone? No, not from all of them, because until recently this was only possible on _smartphones_ and tablets with Android or iOS and it's been months since it was enabled. That at least was the case until today, since series and movies can now be downloaded in Windows 10.
This news has arrived with the latest update of the Netflix application for Windows 10, both on PCs and mobile phones. An update that together with the already typical error correction and system improvement added the option to watch our series and movies even if we don't have an internet connection.
To do this, we already have the option to download to see it whenever we want, a download that we can carry out from the application itself, just like than in iOS and Android but not in the web version, which does not have this feature.
And as in the other two platforms, this possibility does not extend to all the series or movies in the catalogue but only some of them those who have this option. Thus we can only download those that offer the appropriate icon next to the description and once downloaded we will have a specific time to see it.
This new feature will be notified once we download the latest version of the app from the Windows Store thus being able to access the search for movies or series and download the one we want, even allowing us to choose the video quality (very appropriate if we're running out of space).
