VLC receives an update for Windows 10 with a lot of improvements and bug fixes
In its day we discussed which were the users' favorite applications to be installed as soon as they got a new computer and VLC was one of the most repeated. Not in vain, after many years behind them, we are facing what could be the most popular multimedia player on the market
A popularity that comes from being a multi-system application, that is, we can find it for almost all operating systems, whether desktop or mobile, and above all because of the large number of video, image and audio formats with which it allows you to work.
And in the case of VLC for Windows 10, we'll talk about the application again because a few hours ago it received an update again. In this way, it reaches version 2.2.0 and brings quite interesting new features that we are now going to see:
- No longer gives an error when browsing folders, causing it to crash
- Improved library indexing
- Already allows you to delete audio files
- Fixed crash when reading content from SD cards in Windows 10 Mobile
- The bug that caused the application to stop working has been fixed
- Fixed bug in camera content gallery
- Fixed bug where screen would go black when using full screen view
- improved decoding by _hardware_
- There is no longer an error when switching between tabs within audio
- No longer crashes when browsing new media
- Improved Xbox Navigation (was missing)
- Now allows you to use encrypted passwords
- Added the previous and next buttons when playing a video
- Fixed problem with network duplication
- Added a new sub title rendering engine
As you can see, the _changelog_ for this update is quite important. It can be said that almost everything they have added are bug fixes, some of them quite important and that generated a not very positive user experience."
If you are already testing this new version of VLC you can leave us your impressions about the bugs fixed and how it works in the comments.
