The Facebook Gameroom platform is now compatible with Windows computers
Regarding leisure, it is more than clear that for some time now the social aspect has been gaining more and more importance. Many times it's not just important anymore to play, but we also prefer to play in company and share our achievements on social networks.
This is a factor that Facebook has been able to see like no one else, the great social network that in fact already had a space dedicated to those users who like to play in their spare time called Gameroom. A similar space (saving the distances, yes) a Steam where those interested could download some games.
Unlike Steam it&39;s not about big triple-A games or flashy releases. As you can already guess, we are dealing with modest games, of a basic nature, come on, those that come to be the typical Facebook games. In Gameroom we find simple original games for PC and also ported from mobile platforms and among its deficiencies until now we found the non-availability in Windows."
The Microsoft ecosystem was thus deprived of a platform that had its followers, at least until now. And it is that Facebook has been encouraged and has finally launched Gameroom for Windows 7 and higher versions of the Redmod operating system. Of course, do not expect in this case a universal application.
To use Gameroom as just log in with your Facebook account, at which point you will see all the games you already have installed as well as the rest of the available catalog grouping the titles by categories.
Gameroom integrates with Facebook and when using it some limitations must be taken into account , quite logical on the other part. This is how we find how the games will have a maximum size that cannot exceed 200 MB. In addition, even if we find free games, there will be other paid ones, of which Facebook reserves a percentage of 30% of each sale.
Gameroom is also compatible with the Unity graphics engine (which we have already talked about, a graphics engine available for Windows, GNU/Linux and MacOS widely used for different games created on mobile platforms. Thanks to Unity you can create quite decent 2D/3D titles and because it is cross-platform its ease of use is remarkable.
One more option for those who like to spend their leisure time with games that do not require too many complications. Have you already tried Gameroom on your PC?
