You can now try the new version of the classic Paint
Just a few days ago we detailed how one of the classic Windows applications was preparing for a profound change. We are talking about Paint, the well-known drawing program that has been with us for decades and is preparing to make the leap to three-dimensional environments.
An update that was brewing and that many perhaps thought it could come with Redstone 2 Something that you may be quite wrong is that It may be that much sooner than expected we will have it with a previous version that you can start testing. If you are interested, just keep reading.
Paint is a free application and to be able to savor how 3D looks on it we won't have to wait for the new version in Windows 10. We can install it if we use the Build 10586, Anniversary Update Build 14393, or Build 14936of Redstone 2. To do so we just have to follow a few simple steps.
- The first and very important step is to disable automatic updates in the Windows Store, for which we must go to the Settings section. Otherwise and if it is updated it will stop working.
- "We proceed with the download of this file, unzip it in C:/ (the password to unzip is WindowsBlogItalia-0Bau4nQhDgkaWj2BFPjy). This will result in a file named Paint-WindowsBlogItalia."
- Touch pull Cortana and for this we write in the search field the word?Powershell? and run it as administrator.
- Once Powershell starts, type (without the quotes) ?Add-AppxPackage C:\Paint-WindowsBlogItalia" and then press Enter.
How can you see there are only four steps that thanks to the friends of Windows Blog Italia will allow us to test before anyone else the new version of Paint. The truth is that it looks quite good and the new appearance achieved is appreciated, much more in line with the aesthetics and functions that are in demand today. You can tell us what you think of this update in the comments.
