To this end, the company behind the application has held a press conference in the city of San Francisco in which it has put the plans for Slack on the table, with the news that we are going to to see in the coming months and among which stand out greatly the inclusion of voice and video communication, a novelty that will first reach the desktop versions and then to do it to the rest of the applications of the different platforms.

During the presentation, and together with this interesting novelty, they discussed the addition of new options to improve communication between users and increase productivity , and all this without losing the ease of use, such as the possibility of giving and maintaining the format of a text even when a colleague copies and pastes it into another source.

Along with these novelties, facilitate the search and download of shared files and we will try to promote the use of shared channels and improve billing systems, along with performance improvements that are not visible to the naked eye.

At first we said that Slack is not an application as well known as others, at least at street level, because if we look at the figures they have presented we see how account with 2.3 million active users per day, a not insignificant amount.
