Microsoft Garage launches a new batch of apps for all platforms

Table of contents:

Anonim

Microsoft Garage, a division where workers from different campus divisions can come together to create new and exciting applications, has released the new tools available to users .

Developer Assistant

This tool allows all developers working in the Visual Studio environment to save time and find solutions to coding problems they may have, since it allows search code examples on services like Stack Overflow and MSDN

In addition, Developer Assistant also lets you search for code on your computer and perform Bing searches for compilation errors.

This is of course a free tool, and is available to all Visual Studio users on CodePlex.

DevSpace

This application for Windows Phone allows us to access Visual Studio Online to see how our projects are going and the tasks to be carried out. With it you can assign, create, and delete tasks, receive notifications of new builds, and more.

But the most interesting thing is that, in addition, it also has integration with Cortana to open and close tasks, see the latest compilations and more. The bad thing is that the application does not have an attractive design for the user; Hopefully they will work on this later.

Join Conference

This tool available for Windows Phone allows us to have all the information on the conferences that we have in the coming days on one side. In these conferences we can save the ID and PIN numbers, and make the connection automatically.

Like DevSpace, this application has support for Cortana, allowing us through the phrase “Join Conference” to automatically connect to the closest conference we have.

Keyboard for Excel

This interesting application allows to include an interesting keyboard in the Excel application for Android that is adapted to what we normally use in a spreadsheet of this tool.

This keyboard includes a number pad on the right side, and adds enter and tab buttons on the sides, and characters that we normally use to create functions and the like.

A very interesting application that many will surely find useful for their Android tablet.

Mouse without borders

This application for Windows (desktop) helps us to manage up to 4 computers with a single keyboard and mouse. In this way, the tool allows us to copy and paste information and pass files easily and quickly.

This tool is available for Windows XP Service Pack 3 onwards, which means we can take it to almost any computer in our vicinity.

SquadWatch

SquadWatch is an application for Windows Phone that allows us to add people we know to our personal circle and know where this person is. Although it may seem that it is the perfect tool for the stalker, this tool is very good when, for example, we want to know where our children are or our friends when we want to join them.

For that, what we will do is send an invitation to the person we want through their phone number, and they must accept it to start sharing the information about where they are.

Your Weather and Picturesque Lock Screen

And finally we have these two applications. On the one hand, Your Weather is a tool focused on the Chinese public that allows you to know what the weather will be like there, with detailed information and a design that is highly inspired by the country's culture. The only detail is that it is only available in Chinese.

Picturesque Lock Screen is a tool that we've talked about in the past, but it's worth talking about again. It is an application that lets us change the lock screen of our Android terminal to include information such as notifications, missed calls, weather reports, and more, all supported by Microsoft technology.
