Perhaps not otherwise, but the Windows Store has an increasingly decent collection of applications for listening and discovering music. The latest to join is the official application of Deezer, one of the best-known streaming music services that last month released an app for Windows 8 with which access more than 20 million songs in your collection.

The application, completely adapted to the lines of the Modern UI style, has the main functionalities of the service, being able to log in with our accounts, review our playlists and always have our favorite music at hand.In addition, with the first registration in the service you get 15 days of free access and without limits to all the music you want.

Navigating through such a vast collection of music is not an easy task, so, as always, the integration of the application with the Windows 8 search engine is appreciated, so that we can find that song at any time that we can't get out of our heads. We also appreciate the compatibility with Windows 8 Snap View mode so that we can have the player on one side while we continue working with our team.

The application is just as well integrated with the aesthetics of the system and shows all the information of artists and albums taking advantage of the full screen and the horizontal scroll. I have to say that I have come across an unexpected closure or a song that took longer than acceptable to play, but these are things that will surely be polished over time.

For now, if you want hours and hours of music from the comfort of your Windows 8 computers or tablets, Deezer is a one of the best options available. At least until other giants like Spotify decide to jump on the Windows 8 bandwagon.
