Organizing our application shortcuts is one of the actions most requested by users to have everything at hand in as few mouse clicks as possible.

Tiles, Groups, and Anchors in Modern UI
When we install an application for the Windows 8 touchscreen – Modern UI – a shortcut to the executable is automatically placed in the last position of the Titles on the board, which in most cases not particularly useful.
By the simple method of pressing and dragging, we will be able to place the thumbnail of our application on the Start site where it is convenient for us more comfortable. Semantic Zoom and Groups
Notice that, in the contextual menu on the right, we have an icon that returns the complete list of all the applications that we have anchored on the Start screen. This is a quick way to view all Live Titles, but also we can access them through Semantic Zoom by pressing the Ctrl key + mouse wheel.
