Microsoft Edge Canary on Android now allows you to take and share screenshots: so you can use the new tool
Table of contents:
It's been almost a month since Microsoft released the Edge Canary version on Android. The browser gained a new development pipeline on the green robot operating system and now debuts a built-in tool that allows you to take and share screenshots in the browser.
For now the functionality is in full development, so it can still present bugs and suffer from the absence of some of the functions that appear inactive in the interface. An enhancement inherited from Google Chrome that allows you to share a web page as a screenshot
How to share screenshots
Microsoft wants, with this tool, users do not have to depend on the tools to take screenshots that Android already includes or that have been added by different manufacturers. A tool ideal for those who use Edge on a daily basis.
In the case of Edge Canary, this tool is integrated into the browser itself. A method to share browser screenshots by the different methods we have on mobile.
The new function is accessible within the Share menu Along with the rest of the options that we already know and that show a list of installed applications on mobile phones that are compatible, an icon appears with the text Screenshot"
If we click on this icon, Edge takes a screenshot. It shows the entire frontal, including both the top and bottom bars of Edge. What is not included is the top status bar and the navigation bar.
Once the screenshot is taken we will see a series of buttons with options to Share, Save , Delete and Edit And it is this point that It makes us see that it is still in development, since it is missing some of the functions that it mentions in its own interface and Edit>."
This tool is complementary to those already offered by many Android phones, which, as we have mentioned, have advanced screenshot tools , including the option to take long screenshots.
