Edge will have a same code base for mobile and desktop applications, something that will result in greater efficiency, since the same function can be enabled at the same time for different platforms. In this way all versions can have the same features and design.

In the case of iOS, the rendering engine is still WebKit (it's the base engine for the Safari web browser and other lesser known), but the code base has been updated and already offers the features that are available for Android and desktop apps.

The version of Microsoft Edge 91 for iOS matches the desktop version and is one step ahead of the version we can download from theApp Store. A version that has a new reading mode, an improved interface and access to experimental options with the Flags menu."
