The improvements introduced by WhatsApp in the management of groups reach mobile phones with Windows

A few hours ago we saw how WhatsApp added improvements in group management. New features aimed above all at administrators, with new options in group environments, but also for other users, by enabling access to more information about each of the groups in which we are immersed.

These are five novelties that, as usual, arrive first in the versions of WhatsApp available for Android and iOS while in the Windows mobile ecosystem, its users were still waiting.However, this time it seems that this is not the case and these new features can already be tested on phones with Windows Phone.

• Description of the group: With this addition, a small descriptive text is allowed to appear in each group as a summary of the group. It will be the first thing that appears to new members who join and will always be accessible to know the group's theme.

• More control by administrators: WhatsApp has added a new function in group settings called Edit info. of the group. With it, administrators can choose who can change the name, icon and description of a group."
• Summary: a new @ button appears in the lower right corner of the group when we haven't logged in for a while and messages accumulate.By pressing it we will see the messages in which we have been mentioned or responded directly. Ideal when we find tens or hundreds of unread messages.
• More admin controls: Admins will now be able to remove permissions from other participants except group creators, which from they can now no longer be removed from groups they have started themselves.
• Added to groups: the latest news we see is aimed at avoiding being added to a group from which we have left deliberately.

These new features are already available in terminals with Windows Phone and you only have to download the latest version of WhatsApp available in the Microsoft Store .
