Instagram prepares changes in the order in which it offers us the content
Surely you remember the controversy that Twitter already generated when it decided that showing the _tweets_ in chronological order was out of fashion and decided that an algorithm could deal with the mode in which these would be offered based on the importance they might have for you. Do you remember having suffered? Well get ready, because Instagram plans to do the same
A fashion that after its implementation, as we have already mentioned on Twitter or on Facebook itself, now reaches Instagram, and it seems that it does so to stay no matter too much the complaints that users may have who don&39;t usually like this type of order."
The reason why companies, in this case Instagram, opt for this system, is because according to them the current situation means that we don't see up to 70% of the content of our mute or timeline_, something that also grows with the increase in the number of members on social networks.
I don't know about you, but in my case at least I have a lot of control over what happens and what is shared and comment on my Instagram wall and I like the current order... and not that an algorithm takes care of carrying out my daily search and review work.
Instagram opts for a logical decision in the sense that being owned by Facebook, which opted for this controversial method, it was a matter of of time that will reach the photographic social network. In this way they will show us the moments that we think are most interesting.
The system will decide what we want to see and what content is not relevant"
"To carry out this sorting, the algorithm will establish some preferences based on our relationship with the users and as we develop this relationship it will going to occupy one or another place on our wall so that it will not always have a fixed position."
The company itself has made it very clear in a statement via the web:
"How do you see this new way of proceeding?_ At least for me and I think many people, we don&39;t like it at all, The fact that a system decides for you what is important to you or not is, after all, a kind of programmed censorship in a way that can make you miss out on information that is relevant to you despite not having a special relationship, as well asdirect the information offered (on Instagram and any social network that uses this method) according to what interests you."
