You can now download Slack beta for Windows Phone

If you are a user of Windows Phone and use the messaging service Slack , you're in luck today as the First Public Beta of Slack for Windows Phone has finally launched and can be downloaded now by anyone person from the store.
And for a beta, its quality is pretty good. I have been using it for a while and I have not found any serious errors. The interface also seems to be very well polished, delivering a very similar experience to that of the mobile applications on other platforms.
This version of Slack already offers good support for Windows Phone features like _live tiles_ and the notification center. In addition, it is allowed to use login methods such as 2-step authentication, and one-time guest mode. And there's also support for custom emojis and viewing profile pages.
However, as this is a beta version, there are also some unresolved bugs:
- The _live tile_ notification text does not disappear after reading the messages.
- Sometimes the text box is selected without being pressed, causing the virtual keyboard to appear on the screen.
- There are delays in displaying messages after selecting a _toast_ notification of new messages.
- Unread message notifications sometimes appear when you perform actions such as leaving or joining a group or channel.
- Reactions are read-only for now.
- The application may display unexpected errors due to connectivity problems.
- If there are several messages from the same user, they are not grouped, but his avatar appears next to each of the messages.
All of these bugs should be fixed along with future updates, which should also incorporate the following features(which are currently absent):
- Support to upload files
- Support for responses (_reactions_)
- Search
- Support for mentions and viewing of starred/favorite items (_starred items_).
To download the app simply go to the link below from a Windows phone, or if you're reading this on a PC, you can scan the corresponding QR code (the Microsoft store no longer allows you to install apps on phones remotely from the web on a PC).
