We have a new summary of interesting applications to try on our Windows Phone. This time we have applications that have to do with images and numbers.

Calculator Box, many types of calculators in one place

Calculator Box is an application that maybe, at some point, can help us do some simple calculations on a particular situation. This tool has a lot of calculators to use.

Under the “general” calculators we will have to calculate tips, age, adult BMI, fractions, and obviously a normal calculator –like the one for Windows Phone–. We will also have calculators for mortgages, finance, dates and times, sales, areas, percentages and auto.

We will also have currency converters, angles, area, distances and more, making Calculator Box a very complete application to have on hand.

The application, however, does not have a very attractive design, although it is functional and easy to use.

InstaBlurrr, an application to play with the “blur” in the images

InstaBlurrr is an application that lets us apply filters and blur effects to the images we want.

When we enter the application we can choose an image and then a blurred version of it will be created in the background and the original in front, thus leaving an image with a visually attractive style.

At the bottom we will have the different options to apply to the image: brightness, saturation, position, effects, filters and more. The same stands out for being simple and very easy to use, also supported by a fluid and fast interface.

Readly, a “netflix” of magazine subscriptions on your Windows Phone

Readly is an application that is available on Windows Phone (and Windows 8/RT/10) that allows you to access a lot of well-known magazines through a monthly subscription In other Words would be like a version of the Netflix magazines, where we can access the amount of content we want by paying 9.$99 per month.

With the application we can access these magazines and look at them from our smartphone. It has well-known publications such as Inc, Forbes, Rolling Stone, and more Unfortunately all the magazines seem to be in English, so knowing the language is a mandatory requirement in this app.

Calculator Power, a colorful calculator

If Calculator Toolbox is “too complete” for our use, and the Windows Phone calculator perhaps bores us, Calculator Power may be the option we are looking for.

It allows us to do basic calculation operations, but to that it adds a more colorful and lively interface, which is well it could confuse it as a children's application (which is also not unreasonable to think due to the simple operations it has).

On the main screen we can do the calculations and on the right the history of operations carried out (something always useful). Then if we open the menu at the bottom we can customize the application and change the background image and some colors.

Calculator Power is a free application, and it owns at the top.

Have you ever wondered where the image that comes to the Windows Phone lock screen comes from? With DailyPic you will be able to know this.

When we enter the application, we will have the name of the photograph and the author, and then there will be several squares that if we press it give us extra information about the photograph We can also see the previous photographs and obtain their respective information.

DailyPic allows us to change the region of the images to see photographs from other countries. And of course we can download it to put it as wallpaper or share it on social networks.
