5 Featured Windows Phone Apps of the Week (VII): 2BeDone

We're back with a new weekly compilation of cool apps for our Windows Phone phonesThis time we bring a quite miscellaneous list, with recommendations for all tastes. Without further ado, let's take a look at the apps.

Reddit8, a Reddit client created by a Spanish developer

Last week we also mentioned another Reddit client in the weekly roundup, but this time it's also worth mentioning this app not only because it's attractive and works well, but because was created by a Spanish developer: Luis Guerrero.

With Reddit8, as you can imagine, we will be able to visit the different sections and publications that the –great– Reddit social network has. In the first column we can see the publications that are active, and then if we go to the right we can see the list of subreddit to visit, and then our profile data (if we have one).

An interesting thing to mention in this application is that in the main column, we can see the images and gifs right there, without having to enter for it. The bad thing is that if there are many gifs, maybe the fluidity can be lowered for a while until it finishes loading them. The interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Loco Music Player, another alternative for those disenchanted with Xbox Music

Although it must be recognized that Xbox Music has improved a lot thanks to its latest updates, in the comments many of you have let us know that you are still not entirely satisfied with the performance of this Microsoft app .

Fortunately, in the Windows Phone ecosystem we have countless alternatives to the official music player.One of them is Loco music player, a player that, in addition to offering great fluidity, stands out for being focused on playlists. So much so that its home view does not show an interface to explore our collection, but rather an empty playlist to which we can add songs.

The interface for adding songs is very complete and intuitive, and once we have added the ones we are interested in we can reorder them and save the list, or access other playlists that we have previously created. There's also OneDrive music integration, support for song lyrics, different visual themes, and even a timer that we can activate so that playback stops after a while (ideal for those who listen to music at bedtime).

Video Upload to Instagram, post previously recorded videos to Instagram

While 6tag is currently the most complete and powerful Instagram client on Windows Phone, there are still a couple of features that you need to incorporate. One of them is the possibility of uploading videos that we have previously recorded: if we want to upload a video with 6tag, we are forced to record it at the moment, using the same application.

Thankfully, with Video Upload to Instagram we have a solution to that problem.It is a very simple application that allows us to do exactly what 6tag does not allow us to do: post videos on Instagram from the phone's memory, SD card, or even from OneDrive.

The application also offers integration with Movie Maker 8.1 to edit the videos before uploading them. It also includes support for 4K videos recorded with Lumia Camera 5.0, and allows you to freely choose which square of the video we will cut out to upload it to Instagram.

Video Upload to Instagram costs 1.99 dollars/euros, but we can use it as a free trial for a week. It supports phones with 512 MB of RAM.

2BeDone, an interesting organizer GTD

2BeDone is an application that can be of great help to those who are looking for a simple way to organize and manage all their tasks. In it we can write down all our commitments, along with their due date and priority, and also save notes and meetings.

We are offered a calendar view, in which we can appreciate at a glance which are our most overloaded days, and in which we still have time available for other things. We can also create an account and thus synchronize our information with the cloud and other devices.

6 Week Training, a simple assistant to get in shape

To finish, we present to you 6 Week Training, which, although it is only one of the many _fitness_ and training applications out there in the store, it has caught my eye for its simplicity and practical value.

It is an app that goes straight to the point.We enter it and choose the type of exercise that we want to do (squats, sit-ups, push-ups, etc), with which we will be asked to perform a diagnostic test: do as many repetitions as possible, until exhausted, and from that information it will create a routine with custom seriesfor each day, varying in number of repetitions and rest time.

It also allows you to backup settings and data in OneDrive (so we don't lose our routines in case we change or restore the mobile) , set daily reminders, and even play custom music, or a metronome beat during sets.
