A few days after the start of the soccer world cup, people begin to get more euphoric, they organize to meet at a friend's house with the biggest television, and they become much more interested in this sport and event that happens every 4 years. And luckily, Windows Phone users have a couple of applications that help us stay on top of everything and not miss a thing.
Therefore, below we will recommend three applications for Windows Phone to fully enjoy the FIFA World Cup 2014.
Onefootball Brazil
Onefootball already has a very interesting application to be aware of the sports and matches that are to come. But, in collaboration with Volkswagen, it has launched a special version of it for the World Cup.
When starting the application, it will ask us which team we opted for, and then we will show all the information on the scores, table of teams, news and videos, and upcoming matches that is about to be played.
Of course we can also see information from the other teams in the World Cup, and even make a Pin on the desktop to keep them close at hand. It also has nnotifications about upcoming matches, reports and goals that are being scored.
It has a very good and professional design, clearly not made by a company or amateur developer. In addition, the same is completely free.

Awesome Lock
Possibly, until before the World Cup, we would not have named this as an application to have information about soccer or other sports at hand, but the company did not stand still and released a rather interesting update for Awesome Lock.
The application allows us to include data such as weather forecast, news and more on the lock screen. And with the new update, Awesome Lock lets us include the next 4 games that are about to be played in the World Cup.
With this we will not forget any cup match since we will see them daily when we grab our smartphone.
Awesome Lock has two versions: one free and one paid The difference between the two is in the number of widgets that we can add in the lock screen, but unfortunately results are only available in the paid version
Awesome lockVersion 4.2.1.21

- Download it at: Windows Phone Store

Bing Sports
And naming something of the house, the Bing Sports application has nothing to envy to the others. Although we can choose our favorite team and have information about how it is doing in the World Cup, the Microsoft application has two advantages.
One of them is that it has news more at a national level regarding what happens in the World Cup, which does not detract importance. And the second thing is that it has a section called "Social" where we can see what they say about our team on Twitter. And if you want, we can include a third one that is regarding the design, which is very light and nice.
Is it a replacement for Onefootball Brazil? If you don't mind not having notifications, it is. Otherwise I would tell you to stay with the first application, because Bing, for now, does not have notifications (it would have been great if Microsoft updated it, on the eve of the event). In any case, the Bing application can be used to find out what is being said in the news nationwide.
