GroupMe is updated with support for video messages and more

GroupMe is a messaging application owned by Microsoft that allows you to create rooms and talk to multiple contacts at the same time. At the end of last year, changes were introduced to its interface with version 4.7, which managed to give it a good face lift.

Now version 4.8 of GroupMe has arrived, and one of the most interesting innovations is the possibility to send short videos of up to 30 seconds recorded with the phone camera, as if it were Vines. But the news of this new update does not end here.

When they send us a link through Whatsapp or another application, we have no choice but to click on it and open it in our browser without having any idea what it could be. GroupMe now adds the ability to preview content shared via YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, Vine, and Instagram links in your chats.

In addition, it will also be possible to recover chats and groups that you have decided to hide or archive, and in the case of groups you will automatically return to become part of them if you make that choice.

Finally, when attaching several images, users will have the option to delete those they deem necessary even after uploading and before sending the message.
