Aerize Explorer receives an update and becomes exclusive to Windows Phone 8.1
Table of contents:
Aerize Explorer was one of the first file explorers to be incorporated into Windows Phone 8.1, as my ngm colleague told you on his previously published article Three File Explorers for Windows Phone 8.1.
With the new update of Aerize Explorer, this application becomes totally exclusive to Windows Phone 8.1, as we can see if we tried to download it with any other version of the operating system.
In the list of changes made by Aerize in its file explorer, we can find features that users have been requesting for a long time. The result is a more powerful application with a more intuitive interface.
The first novelty is the selection mode, which we can activate simply by holding our finger down on a folder or file. By doing so, this mode will allow us to select multiple items to delete, move or copy to another location.
In addition, a contextual menu will appear at the top through which we can share folders or files through our OneDrive account, send it by email or with any other application that allows file sharing.
Another novelty lies in the possibility of choosing between different sizes of the elements, with Compact, Normal and Large options. Compact view, for example, will allow you to see more items on the screen at the same time.
With the new update, whenever Aerize Explorer finds an image, it will display a preview of it so you can easily recognize it on all time. This way you will be able to distinguish them without having to open each one previously.
Along with all these new features, we include the option to pin files and folders to the Start menu. The created Live Tile will function as a shortcut to these items, so you can quickly access them whenever you need to.
