BitTorrent Sync brings its P2P storage service to Windows Phone

BitTorrent Sync is the P2P alternative to traditional cloud storage services Instead of entrusting our files and documents to servers from a given company, BitTorrent Sync stores them on its users' hard drives and relies on P2P technology to keep them synchronized and available at all times. All decentralized, without storage limits and controlled by the user through its encryption.

The proposal has been gaining supporters over the past year and in December already had more than 2 million users who transferred an average of 20 GB of data between their devices, including smartphones.BitTorrent Sync had applications for Android and iOS for the latter. From now on it will also be available on Windows Phone 8.
