They promised an update every two weeks and the Xbox Music development team has once again met the deadline. After completing the integration with Cortana and improving the overall stability of the application with the first update, Microsoft has re-released a new version of its music player for Windows Phone with some of the most requested features.
This time the most important novelty comes in the form of a new playback bar that will allow us to go forward or back to a specific point of the song we are listening to.The change is meant to correct one of the most serious flaws in the application while accompanying smoother transitions when fast forwarding or rewinding through music.
The previous change is joined by continuous improvements in the usability and appearance of the interface, applied with the intention of improving the visibility of the content. Bugs have also been fixed, such as the one that caused the erroneous deletion of songs from playlists and others that forced the application to close.
To continue with good customs, Redmond have again promised new updates that will bring more changes to the playback screen, support for Live Tiles and transparent Tiles and the possibility of adding more than 100 songs to a playlist. In the meantime this week's Xbox Music update is now available from the Windows Phone Store for Windows Phone 8 users.1.
