FlipMag for Windows Phone
Table of contents:
Although we have many bets from RSS readers for Windows Phone, a new application is coming to light that, in addition to pretending to be a faithful newsreader wants to do it with a extremely neat and beautiful interface.
I'm talking about FlipMag, a reader who has borrowed some elements that we have known in Flipboard applications --which by the way still we don't have an official one for Windows Phone-- and it takes it to the next level by incorporating incredible effects and an interface totally in keeping with the operating system.
The first thing we are going to see after installing it will be a section to choose what news we want it to inform us about, after our choice we will go to a home screen that based its interface in the use of resizable tiles, these are accompanied by a side menu that allows us to navigate between the different sections.
Afterwards when we read the contents of one of our sources we will see a thumbnail image along with the title of the content, but the magic appears when we scroll through those contents with which we can see a movement effect between the images and the titles extremely beautiful.
Of course, the effects and transitions are not limited to the news list, but when we enter a source the application simulates the same effect that Windows Phone has when entering an application, the same thing happens when we leave the source.
Other noteworthy features of FlipMag are: the ability to pin various sources to the home screen that will be displayed in a live tile, being able to log in with our Instapaper account to save content, and the ability to add our own sources by entering the site's RSS URL.
For now the application is still in BETA phase, although we have the possibility of installing it in any terminal with Windows Phone 8 completely free.
