One of the recurring problems in Windows Phone terminals, and especially in Nokia's Lumia range, is poor battery life. Thus, if we are not attentive, we will find ourselves with a brick without power, almost always at the most inconvenient moments.

I don't know how many here play, or how many here saw Twitch Plays Pokemon, but in any case, seeing it made me want to reminisce a bit about those memories of when I played Pokemon in the computer. And luckily, on Windows Phone we have the VBA8 application to emulate Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Color games. Games can be loaded via MicroSD card or Skydrive, and the premium version has MOGA joystick support.

In the time I've played I haven't had any kind of problems. It has the possibility of saving the state of the game (take a screenshot of the moment, and when you load it, you return to that same place), and of configuring the control buttons between analogues and buttons, to the user's liking. VBA8 is completely free, the developer is constantly updating it, and it has a version for Windows 8.
