It had been months since WeatherBug received an update, but a few hours ago it received what we would call the biggest since its release, the Version 3.0 of this weather application brings several improvements, including the integration of operating system functionalities and a new interface.

"

It is impossible not to look at the new interface of WeatherBug with some doubt, because curiously it borrows a design from applications on other platforms instead of maintaining the one that has always characterized Windows Phone, which I won&39;t say is bad, but very strange."

The weather application arrives with several improvements in its functionalities, including more accurate forecasts in various parts of the world, a forecast that now extends to ten days after the current one, interactive maps ( although limited to certain geographical areas), and a curious functionality (only in the US) that allows view live images from more than 2000 totally live sites.

Moving on to usable improvements to the operating system there is support for Double Live Tile, which displays the current location, temperature, and a representative image, and lock screen support which will only show the current weather image of your location.

WeatherBug is completely free, but it works with ads, so anyone with a Windows Phone device can get through it, though those running the eighth version will enjoy noticeable performance improvements.
