Here is a good idea that was already taking time to be developed: control our presentations from the mobile There are already similar options around, but it has had to be the people of Microsoft Research who, in collaboration with the Office team, bring us an official application for Windows Phone 8 capable of performing such a task with the Redmond office suite.
Office Remote is the name of the small application developed by Microsoft's research department that turns our Windows Phone 8 devices into Office remote controls. Thanks to it we will be able to control some of the suite's main tools from our mobiles, such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
PowerPoint is precisely the one that can get the most out of Office Remote: we can start presentations, advance through the slides, consult our notes and even control a laser pointer from the touch screen of the mobile. In Word and Excel we can browse documents and spreadsheets, zoom in and access specific sections of them.
Office Remote is now available for download. To make it work we need Microsoft Office 2013, without using previous versions or the RT version of it. The rest of the requirements are to have Bluetooth connection on our PC and to have installed on it a small desktop application , which can be downloaded from the Microsoft website.
