One of the most repeated complaints from Windows Phone users is that too many apps in the Store lack depth and complexity .

But, as was to be expected on such a young platform, software is finally beginning to arrive that has a greater degree of maturity and offers, in a single executable, advanced functions.

Today I bring a good example with Avirall, a stopwatch like there are dozens of them in the Store, but with powerful capabilities that make it at a level higher than the current one.

Control time exhaustively

The first tool I find as soon as I enter the app is a digital stopwatch that works just like one in the real world.

Three buttons: the middle one starts/stops the clock, the right one takes a split time, and the left one resets the stopwatch or counts down five seconds and starts measurement.

The two advantages this watch has compared to its competition is, first, its ease of use; and, second, that is accurate to the millisecond – which is unusual.

Next we have the types of time control that are fourChronowatch, which is the sports stopwatch that I described above.TaskTimer, where I define the time that I want to assign to a task and launch a counter that increases until completing the assigned time.Once I have reached the designated period, an alert is launched indicating that my time has run out, or that I have completed it.ActLogger, which is the exact opposite of the TaskTimer. Here I do not define the maximum time that I am going to use for the activity, but rather I start a counter that tells me how much time has been consumed.Prokeeper, which is an option for a more professional profile and one that is especially orderly with your time. Basically it is about registering a project, defining the price per hour and managing the money that you generate/debt for each project.

General options for all modules

So far I've only talked about the ways to control time that Avirall allows me, but there are various options that are common to all modes .

Edit the description and data of the tab of the task that I am monitoring.

Add attached images, where I can add to a counter captures taken with the camera, or choose from the smartphone's library.

People, I can make a list of the people involved in a task, and assign them. Being an added value the one who has access to the telephone contacts.

Stop the task to have a coffee, which has its own time and is reflected in the activity history; end a period and start another (which is like coffee but longer); or directly terminate the task and start a new one.

I can also delete a task from the history, I can stop the time measurement altogether, and access the history in a daily, weekly, monthly, etc. view.

And here comes what, for me, is the highlight of the application: It continues to measure time after we have exited the application, locked the phone, and – even - being off!

Of course, and as cannot be otherwise in any modern application, it includes multiple ways to share information on social networks or by email.

In conclusion, a very good application that should serve as an example of what Windows Phone users are expecting from the software of our mobiles.
