Today I bring as the app of the week one of the funniest games I have installed on my Windows Phone, Six guns, which allows me to put myself in the law of a tough American gunman in that dangerous time when justice was decided by the speed with which you drew and shot.
Open Universe in the Wild West
The curated cover story gives a first look at the quality that characterizes the game.
As so often in these adventures, I appear in the middle of nowhere with a vulture circling me waiting for my demise to set the boots with my corpse, but really it's just the beginning of the story.
My first mission is to beat the tutorial that starts with a bare fist fight with two thugs who are bothering a helpless damsel. Thanks to this, I get enough money to be able to buy my first revolver – quite rusty by the way – and get my brand new mount.
From here, using a fairly intuitive camera and movement control, I must choose missions on the map and carry them out, to get more money and stars with which to buy more weapons, ammunition, upgrades, etc.
Solo Story or Multiplayer Death
Being an open environment, I can travel freely around the game map, which is quite large, similar to what I would do it in a Skyrim or GTA. Distributing lead in the different missions and obtaining rewards.
Being able to share my achievements, progress and awards on Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin (the latter seems strange to me).
I can also enter in multiplayer games with up to 8 participants, where I have to manage to steal the opposing team's flag, and that in The bottom is an excellent place to die continuously in a desperate way, while you manage to kill some enemy or other, from time to time.
Conclusions
Taking into account that the game is free to purchase, I think it is a highly recommended application to spend hours with your smartphone. If anything for the computational needs of a pure 3D environment, my Lumia 920 has gotten so hot I thought it might catch fire and the battery has lasted me a breath.
