Tuenti for Windows Phone launched
Table of contents:
"After a considerably long wait, Tuenti finally arrives on Windows Phone. It&39;s going to be almost a year since they said they&39;d have it ready in two weeks, but as they say, better late than never."
We have been able to have the application before launch, and although it is not bad, things are still missing. The application has the same design as on other platforms, although adapted for Windows Phone: three _pivots_, one with our contacts to be able to chat, another with their moments (status updates) and another with our profile, which only has our status updates .The chat works quite well, although we miss a view in which only our contacts are connected. New status updates can also be uploaded from the application, and we can include photographs directly, without changing the screen.
Similar to the web, we have the notification counter at the top. This is the same counter as on the _live tile_, which unfortunately doesn't support large size. The advantage is that notifications of comments, requests and so on are instantaneous, working with push.
Of course, it's missing things. We do not support events or group chats. Nor can we see the photos of our contacts or our own. Basically, the same shortcomings as the other new Tuenti applications for the rest of the platforms.
Even so, the arrival of the application is greatly appreciated. You can now download it from the Windows Phone Store by scanning the QR code below.
