In summer. That is the period in which according to the latest rumors, Microsoft would launch the Surface Duo. They echo the news in GSMArena where they collect the opinion of Zac Bowden on Twitter that the arrival of the Galaxy Fold 2 in August would have been the trigger for this advance

The Galaxy Fold 2 is the revision of the original model that has given Samsung so many headaches and would be the partner of the new Note and a possible Galaxy Z Flip 5G. A model that will raise great expectations and that can make many interested parties not wait for Christmas. And that's what Microsoft would like to avoid.

Regarding the Surface Duo and the features it is expected to offer, the data that is now being considered speaks of a Snapdragon 855 SoC along with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM memory, storage capacities of 64 and 256 GB, all under a 5.6-inch dual AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1800 x 1350 pixels.

In the multimedia section, highlight an 11-megapixel camera with a 2.0 focal aperture (ƒ / 2.0) and two 5.6-inch AMOLED screens each, with a resolution of 1,800 x 1,350 pixels, 4: 1 aspect ratio and 401 dpi. A set powered by a 3,460 mAh battery and that would have a USB Type C port for connections and nanoSIM card.

Microsoft may therefore be in a hurry to offer its brand new phone to the public if information is confirmed that for now is no more than be a rumor It remains to wait very little, less than six weeks, to confirm if we finally have the Surface Duo before the month of August arrives.
