Zac Bowden Reveals Possible Surface Duo Specs: Snapdragon 855

Table of contents:
The Surface Duo is one of the devices that Microsoft has presented to launch at the end of the year, presumably coinciding with the Christmas season. Announced at the end of 2019 together with the Surface Neo (this one can be delayed) the Surface Duo is a phone with a dual and folding screen (not flexible) with Android.
A model that we've seen hints of detail here and there, but whose specifications are still unknown. And now, nearing summer and in the absence of an official confirmation, all the details of the Surface Duo could have been revealed, at least if we listen to the opinion of Zac Bowden.
Possible specifications
Windows Central columnist, an expert on Microsoft issues, has announced what may be the probable specifications of the Surface Duo. And although some were expected, in others we may come across a surprise.
In this sense, the next Surface Duo, and always according to Zac Bowden, would have a Snapdragon 855 SoC inside, a set supported by 6 GB of RAM and with storage capacities of 64 and 256 GB (it will be necessary to know what type of memory it uses).
In the multimedia section, highlight an 11-megapixel camera with a 2.0 focal aperture (ƒ / 2.0) and two 5.6-inch AMOLED screens each , with a resolution of 1,800 x 1,350 pixels, 4:1 aspect ratio and 401 dpi.A set powered by a 3,460 mAh battery and that would have a USB Type C port for connections and a nanoSIM card.
Of all these data and, taking them as accurate, note that when the Surface Duo is presented, it will arrive with a processor that will be more than a year late , since by that date it is almost certain that we will have the revision of the Snapdragon 865 that phones launched at that time will wear and they will already be working on the model for 2021.
The 64 GB of internal memory for storage is also striking, a figure that starts from 64 GB to jump to 256 GB and that may be low for many users. In fact, many already see 128 GB as the minimum required capacity. In addition, it is aggravated in this case, since apparently it will not have a slot for memory cards of any kind.
What Bowden has not revealed is the price that the Surface Duo may haveBut if it follows the line of the most exclusive models of the Surface range (the Surface Go 2) it is left off the list, it is presumable to expect a high price, especially when it comes to the first Microsoft phone in many months, a smartphone that also will boast a brand new Android screen and operating system among Redmond devices.
