Samsung expands Samsung Flow coverage to more terminals to be able to unlock your PC from your mobile
Unlocking our laptop or desktop computer using our mobile is something tremendously practical and above all, it adds extra security in the case of not having a keyboard that has support for the fingerprint reader.
This is a feature that I had tried with the combination of Mac OS and Android thanks to the DroidID application that allows you to unlock your Mac without the need to enter the password. And it doesn't matter if the computer is idle or if the screen saver is activated.But what about Windows?
Well, something similar is already possible thanks to Samsung. And it is if we use the Samsung Flow function with which users can unlock their computer or tablet, authenticate themselves, using a Samsung Galaxy mobile (must be Samsung, that's the limit).
Samsung Flow came alongside the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S with Windows 10, but was limited to Samsung's tablet only. However, the Korean firm seems to have seen the reef in this application and have chosen to launch an update that increases the number of compatible devices (now it extends to more computers and tablets) and incidentally adds an extra function.
So, if you have a Samsung mobile phone and a laptop or desktop computer that already has Windows 10 Creators Update installed, you can use Samsung Flow to unlock and access your device remotely.Something very useful especially in phones with built-in fingerprint sensor.
In addition, since the computer and _smartphone_ are paired, a notice transfer system between them will be possible. If you receive a notification on your phone, you can see it on your computer.
It will suffice to to be a user of one of the three compatible models, for now only the last three launches of the Samsung S range. These are the Samsung Galaxy S8 (and its Plus version), Samsung Galaxy S7 (Edge and Plus) and Samsung Galaxy S6."
We just have to have them paired and when we place our finger on the mobile's fingerprint reader, we can unlock access to it without having to use password combinations .
