Like every month, AdDuplex today released its latest monthly statistics on the state of the Windows Phone ecosystem for the month of September. And the biggest trend or change we're seeing this period, from the previous month, is the big increase in Windows 10 Mobile usage

For the month of August, the use of Windows 10 on mobile phones reached 3.3%, while now in September it already reached 4.7% , which represents an increase of 1.4 percentage points, or 40%, based on the previous month.

Windows Phone 8.1 is also increasing usage, though only by 0.9 percentage points. And both its increase and that of Windows 10 Mobile occur at the cost of the share of Windows Phone 8.0 and 7.x, which are reduced by 2.4 points.

"

Personally, I don&39;t know if the popularity>Windows Phone total user base is relatively small compared to the Insider program participants (for reference, in the mobile phone market). PCs the share of Windows 10 never exceeded 1% while this operating system was available only to Insiders)."

Another interesting figure corresponds to the share of use of the Lumia 640, which already reaches 11.2% in the United States, positioning it as the second most used computer in the Windows ecosystem, only behind the Lumia 635.In the United Kingdom and India a similar growth is observed in this model, but also in the Lumia 540, 640 XL and 435.

Also notable is the popularity that the Lumia 830 has achieved in Canada Over the past 10 months this device has increased by 8.9 points its share of use, becoming the second most used model in Canada, with 12.4%, and only behind the Lumia 635.

These good figures for the Lumia 830 also draw attention because it is one of the few times that a mid-high-range Lumia team has had significant share increases over the last year (in which Microsoft has preferred prioritize low range).

The full results of the AdDuplex figures will be published tomorrow, September 25, and will be available at blog.adduplex.com.
