The Redmond company wants to continue pushing the low-end of products with Windows Phone, because this time it has presented the Microsoft Lumia 435 and Microsoft Lumia 532. Obviously, both are terminals aiming at the low end and reducing costs (but without punishing the specifications too much).

The Microsoft Lumia 435 is an interesting balance of price and specs, as Microsoft has made a good move with the choice of features .

Microsoft Lumia 435 Specifications

The Microsoft Lumia 435 has the following specifications:

  • 4-inch LCD screen, with a resolution of 800x480 pixels.
  • 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor.
  • 1GB RAM memory.
  • 8GB internal storage with expansion via MicroSD card up to 128GB.
  • 2.0 megapixel rear camera, with video recording at 30 FPS with a resolution of 800x448 pixels.
  • 0.3 megapixel VGA front camera.
  • 1560 mAh battery, with a range of up to 9.4 hours with WiFi navigation.
  • USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g/n.
  • Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim.

As we can see, Microsoft has done very well to include 1GB of RAM, which is something very important to take into account in a terminal like this. Although apparently this choice has caused the camera to drop to 2.0 megapixels.

Obviously it is not a terminal for taking pictures, but in any case we can make sure that it will have a more than acceptable performance, something that surely is highly valued in a product that tries to be as cheap as possible.

The design continues to maintain the thickness of the 530 range (the difference is tiny), and carries the same essence of the Lumia terminals.

Price and release date

The Microsoft Lumia 435 will be priced at 69 euros before taxes, and will have a Dual SIM version. The available colors will be green, orange, white, and black; those that Microsoft normally comes using in the terminals.

The terminal will arrive in February in Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, the Middle East, and Africa.
