Today it was Microsoft's presentation at IFA 2014, and after learning about the Lumia Denim update, the Lumia 830 has dropped. With this device they want to stand out in two things: price and camera. And on paper, it looks like Microsoft has nailed it.
The camera is its first strength: 10-megapixel PureView, with the thinnest optical stabilizer on the market. In a not very extensive demonstration, they have shown how well it performs in low-light situations, something that is already becoming Nokia's trademark.

The camera, a strong point
The camera is one of the increasingly important aspects of mobile phones. At Microsoft they know this, and they have focused on it on the Lumia 830. The main camera has, as we mentioned before, 10 megapixels with Zeiss optics. The minimum focus distance is 10 cm. The aperture is f/2.2, with an LED flash and an extremely slim optical stabilizer that promises a lot, especially in low light. You can record video at 1080p and 30fps.
The secondary or front camera has 0.9 megapixels, f/2.4 aperture and 720p video capture.
Lumia 830, Price and Availability
The Lumia 830 promises to be an affordable flagship, and of course the price isn't bad for what it offers: 330 euros (without VAT, yes). In addition, it will arrive soon in the markets: before the end of the month it will be available globally.
