Nokia is taking advantage of its much talked about participation in this Mobile World Congress to present terminals running Windows Phone 8, one of them and it seems that it is the most affordable is the Nokia Lumia 520, let's see what it offers us.

Nokia Lumia 520, design and display

At the design level we are not facing really impressive improvements, but once again Nokia with its strategy of showing colorful mobiles delights our eyes with this new terminal, a rear cover similar to the one used in the Lumia 505 and quite defined corners.

On one of the sides we have three physical buttons, both for power, camera and volume control, while the front can be admired with a four-inch screenthat is accompanied by the already very classic capacitive buttons.

Its screen, which has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, has technology Super Sensitive that will allow its use not necessarily with the fingers of hand, but we can use gloves or even our fingernails to move the interface of the operating system.

Internal hardware and camera

In its interior we cannot find a really impressive hardware since from the outset we know that the mobile is focused on the affordable market. We have a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. accompanied by 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage plus expandable via microSD cards (up to 64GB).

In the multimedia section we forgot about the front camera to leave us only a rear of five megapixels just like other low-end ones omitting its LED flash but keeping the ability to record 720p video at 30 frames per second.

To complete the features, we also have connectivity HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, aGPS and a 1430mAh battery promising up to 9.6 hours of talk time.

Nokia Lumia 520, price and availability

The Nokia Lumia 520 will be available in March, first being marketed in the Asian market for a few months after reaching Europe, Africa and Latin America. The price at which it will be offered is 139 euros tax free.

For now this would be the cheapest mobile phone with Windows Phone 8 on the market, which will be a good weapon for Nokia to get ahead of its competition in truly affordable markets.
