We love this concept of the possible use of Mixed Reality via HoloLens but... it's still quite far away
That Mixed Reality is one of Microsoft's bets for the more or less near (or distant?) future we do not doubt it. They are doing hard work with Windows Mixed Reality and manufacturers are encouraged with products that, although still in an embryonic phase make us envision a promising future
But the path of roses of this future depends above all on the usability that can be extracted from this Mixed Reality That can be apply in our day to day for different areas of life so that they fit in with the different types of potential users. And that is something that this designer has managed to do with his concept of Mixed Reality applied to HoloLens.
His name is Jonathan Da Costa and he has created a concept of Mixed Reality that although it looks like something out of a science fiction movie is not so impossible to carry outas many of us might expect. And for this, nothing better than showing it in images, in a video in which he lets us see what could be the use that this alternative or complementary reality would offer."
A day to day in which we could use the HoloLens to buy a product that we are seeing in a magazine and see it represented how a hologram, increase the information about some information we receive (as if we were using a QR code), or even search, based on a piece of data, more information related to it.
The protagonist of the video is leafing through a magazine with Antoine Griezman as the protagonist and draws attention as he displays information related to the player based on the interview he is reading.Information that even allows you to play videos of the football player overlaid in your living room"
It is clear that this is not just around the corner We can rest easy because we will not be seeing each other any time soon on the sofa at home with mixed reality glasses on. First, utilities for real application in people's normal lives must be found and then the different products (HoloLens or whatever model is from any manufacturer) have an affordable price that makes them a mass product. And for that, there is still time.
