What made you choose Windows Phone over other options? the question of the week
Table of contents:
Windows Phone continues to grow little by little, as we could see in the latest report from Kantar Worldpanel, although its numbers have dropped slightly compared to the previous quarter. Microsoft's mobile operating system has been with us for quite some time now, and it has become one more option to take into account when renewing our terminal.
Some say that it is stagnating due to a lack of investment in (and rightly so), while others think that we are facing a temporary situation that will change with the arrival of Windows Phone 8.1.
One way or another, the truth is that Windows Phone has managed to gain a foothold in the market and it is beginning to grow, no matter what it's costing you or it's not as popular as Android or iOS.
Although, that's probably where your problem currently lies, because if the marketing division doesn't get the vast majority of people aware of Windows Phone, it will never be able to compete directly with the alternatives. Such a platform cannot simply depend on users telling others about it.
In fact, when I bought my first Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 710), which was also my first smartphone, I was looking for something different from what everyone else had. I didn't know anything about it until a friend convinced me to try it, and the result was very satisfactory.
So we asked you, as part of the community, what made you choose Windows Phone over other options. Was it a recommendation from a friend or family member? Did you have the opportunity to try it before deciding? Or was it an unexpected gift that made you discover it?
