Microsoft is already testing in Edge the ability to add text to PDF documents without using third-party applications

The new feature is coming, selectively, with Edge version 94 (you can currently download version 94.0.995.0 from Edge Canary) and receives the name of Add text>. A function that comes to complete the capabilities of Edge when working as a document reader."
