Windows Phone Kid's Corner: how to stay calm while little ones play

We all know that when we have a little close to us, all of them digital natives, they often insist that we let them use our smartphones.

This act of generosity, safe a priori, can become compromising: children can accidentally delete our data or contacts, as well as access unsafe sites. Windows Phone incorporates an exclusive site for them: the children's corner.

There are usually only three uses for a young child of an adult's smartphone: playing playing a game or using an app,watch a video or movie, or listen to a song.

We are rarely going to see a child doing anything else with a smartphone except, of course, rummage through our personal data, accessing web pages freely and who knows if causing a virtual destruction.

The touch of confidence provided by Windows Phone and its children's corner consists of offering a completely minimalist and basic mode that gives us access to the different sections that our little ones can use.

Custom corners, specific elements

To activate the "children's corner" mode we will have to go to Settings > System > Children's corner on our Windows Phone.Here, in addition to being able to activate it, we can determine the Games, Songs, Videos and Applications that will be available.

Starting the Children's Corner mode is really simple: we can access it from the menu that we have just described in the previous paragraph (we can even create a mosaic on the start screen of our Windows Phone) or from thelock screen of our device in rest, sliding your finger to the left.

Kids' Corner is another home screen to use, but only with the necessary tiles for each element. We also have a special mosaic that allows us (or allows our little ones) customize the Corner to your liking: with your name, your personalized image, your favorite color , its background color.
